Lasers – Watch Videos
Laser cutting is the fastest machining process for flat sheet and plate materials. By utilizing high intensity light surrounded by a high-pressure gas, complex contours and geometry can be produced without the need of hard tooling. Laser cutting produces edge quality that rarely needs secondary processing.
LCNW has three high-powered laser processing machines suitable for short runs or prototypes as well as full production runs.
By forcing pressurized water mixed with an abrasive through a very small jewel orifice, an intense cutting stream upwards of 60,000 PSI is created and utilized as an efficient method of cold processing materials. Composites, laminates, plastics, coated materials and metals hard or soft from A to Z as well as uneven and stacked layers can be processed with abrasive waterjet cutting.
LCNW has three ultra high precision waterjet machines that are suited for all sizes of orders, from prototypes to production. Our multiple head cutting capability offers our customers with the best prices because of increased throughput.
